A pinnacle of brilliance.

Don Giovanni is a two act "dramma giacoso" composed in 1787 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791). To a libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, this piece is perhaps the most accomplished rendition of a mythological story (one already brought into the limelight by Tirso de Molina and Molière).

As Charles Gounod said: "History has shown us that there are some men destined to stand out in their field, to reach the very pinnacle of brilliance: Mozart was one of them, and his Don Giovanni is perfection".
